Never Take Candy From Strangers in Weird Cars

After walking around Porter park, Marie and I walked to Broulims for the things that we needed to contribute to our Easter dinner tomorrow. On our way there a car stopped by the side of the road and said "Happy Easter!" holding out two filled Easter eggs out of the window. I grabbed the red one and Marie grabbed the green one. We said thanks and then continued walking. At the same time we both opened our eggs and said "my favorite!!!!" In mine was a Reeses and Marie had a Starburst. It is so weird how the little things in life bring so much joy!
If this happened in anywhere but Rexburg I would not eat the candy, but I am in Rexy so I will eat it in celebration tomorrow!

HAPPY EASTER!

All Wound Up

Yesterday I was taking a nap as I usually do around the same time each day, depending on if I have time to or not. My body was so tired but yet my mind could not stop going going going. I was laying on my bed, and I would just say things that were on my mind.
One instance I was quietly trying sleep then I would blurt out songs like, "few times I've been around that track...but I ain't no Holla back girl, I ain't no holla back girl". Where did this come from? I do not know. After I had splurted out these random things a few times Marie said to me, "You know those wind up toys? You are just like one, you wil be going, and then all of a sudden stop, then get all wound up again and keep going for a little while." I guess I have a lot on my mind.

P.S. My 1.5 mile run I had to do today wasn't so bad, I finished in 16 min 41 sec. I hope next time we do it at the end of the semester it goes down by 2 min!

Back to school

So, I figured I would give my thoughts on each one of my classes and then at the end of the semester I could look back and see if they were right.

The American Epidemic:
I think this class will be interesting to me. I am pretty sure it will be easier for me than most people because I am a biology major and have taken Biology classes. The teacher said that the class would be the hardest this semester for most people, because they don't have any biology background. We have to do a journal of what we eat and how we exercise. we also have to make a measurable goal like lose 10 lbs this semester, or exercise 5 times a week. This will be easy for me since I am officially in the Biggest Winner competition (I got the e-mail confirmation today!) Oh yeah and on Friday as a class we have to do the 1.5 mile run, then at the end we have to do the same and see if we improved or not. I bet I will! Oh yeah Tim Newton was in my class.

English 201: I do not think I am going to like this class. I think it will be not too hard but I think it will just be boring for me. We have to read many articles, and I am not a reader, especially if they do not interest me. Also Stephen Hopkins in my class, he is from my stake in CA.

Doctrine and Covenants:I like the teacher so far. I have Brother Williams. The two girls I sat next to were cool, but the chances of me sitting next to them on Monday are slim.

Math 108: I like the girl Jessica that I sat next to today, and I also like my teacher but i forgot her name... In our introductions we had to say what we would do with 50 million dollars, I said go to India, go on a Safari in Africa, pay for Med school (if I decide that is what I want to do), and then invest the rest. One boy said "I'd buy Miss America" to say the least we were all confused.

Chemistry 106: It seems okay. I know it won't be my favorite class, but what they hay. I am going to have to work hard for a good grade. And also I was sitting down and guess who walked in Benjamin Ricks. Weird huh. it is funny cause Mark was in Chemistry with his sister, and they had the same teacher! What a coincidence!

I don't know about my volleyball class yet though. it is a second term class, so it starts in June.

I thought it was cool that I am becoming one of the people who walk around and I know at least one person everywhere I go. i knew at least one person in each my classes today! It was comforting to say the least.

P.S. everyone that I mentioned by name that was in my class, is from my stake in CA. Small world.

Let the studying begin...

Spring Break

So for my "Spring Break", which is really a 10 day break in between semesters, Mom and I went to CA to help out Grandma. it was good to see her and most of the other family again. While I was there I had a little too much fun with her wigs. She doesn't wear them because she has a full head of hair, but they are for her business, but now they are a little outdated...

I absolutely LOVE the hills of CA when they are green!

We went to the beach on Friday, just a few friends but it was still a blast!

I swear there was a person sleeping at the end of this creepy tunnel thing that was in the sand, it went back about 30 ft.

Goodbye winter semester!

This semester has literally flown by! It seems like just yesterday I was living in CA and working everyday. But, I guess everything of Winter semester is gone. All that is left of Winter semester are final grades. Ahhhh! I know that I have A's in all of my classes but Chemistry, which is on he fence. I have no idea what my final grade is in that class, but I guess that it is over, and there is no going back to fix anything. Well, Steph, my roommate is no longer with us, and if you want to know how much she brought to school, let me tell you. Actually, let me show you!

And I thought that I had a lot of stuff. I brought up with me only a trunk full of stuff and someone else and his luggage. I think that it will take a semi to get all of steph's stuff home.

General Conference was great! On Saturday morning we all made breakfast, and had about  13 people over and had a great time. here is a little peak of what went on that day...

Oh yeah I sold little Chester that day also. They are coming to pick him up Easter weekend. they think they will be able to fix him and drive him back down to Utah. Good luck!

May I add that little spare on Chester, has been manually changed by Stephanie and I! Yeah we are awesome, we had boys pass by and offer to change it for us, but we told them that we were almost done, and we did it all in about 15 min!

P.S. you know what i just realized? After this next semester, I will be HALF way done with school! That is a little weird for me to think... ahh!

Robert Bunsen this one is for you!

So, today in Chemistry Dan leans over to me and tells me that we should be singing Happy Birthday today. I was utterly confused... so he goes on to tell me that it is Robert Bunsen's birthday, (the guy who invented the Bunsen Burner). So he raises his hand and brings it to the attention of Brother Zaugg, who too thought it was funny, but we had no time to sing, because he had a lot to discuss today. So in honor of you, Robert Bunsen, and your 200th birthday, I bring this to you...

For some reason this makes me think of my brothers also. Maybe because we are always making up weird songs and singing, but especially the chemistry part of it.
