Manic Monday?

On Monday's I am usually at the library till FHE, then come back to the library, then I go to volleyball from 9-11. Today was different, and I don't know why. I had the same assignments but it took me WAY less time to do them. For my biostatistics class part of our assignment was to watch SuperCroc! It is actually a pretty cool movie. I am done so early in the day that I am a little nervous though...am I missing something?

My computer is back!

Brad, one of my awesome brothers, is so talented. he fixed my computer. My computer had fallen and the screen cracked. I was so sad. But... dun dun dun dun... it comes in the mail and it is fixed! thanks Brad! So it has been quite a while since I last posted. March has been the month full of birthdays. Mom, Summer, Stephanie, Kacie, and Marie all had birthdays! I have to say I am all caked out, well until next birthday...

Roommate sleepover! When all the beds wern't on the floor, we piled them all up and made a couch out of them, it made for a great conversation starter.

I look at the last time I wrote on my blog, and I realize that it has been a while. I only have 3 more weeks from today of school. The I am going to go to California with my mom and dad to go help my Grandma for a week. I am so stoked! Let the count down begin.... 19 days!

Dad, I have met 5 new people!

I love my new roommies! They are awesome. I came up here with Marie who I had already known, but I got to meet 4 new girls that are wonderful. Stephanie is my room roommate, and she is awesome! we will be up till the late hours of he night laughing.


I am so glad that Marie and I can be roommates. I am so glad that I could meet Marie 3 years ago, we have been besties ever since. "L" ya girl!
 

Man, us girls can be crazy sometimes! When I get a chance I will take more pictures of the rest of us in 110.

Ps. Yesterday I paid the deposit on my cruise to that Bahamas! Man I am so excited, only 211 days left!

    I am in in love with this song! I have had it on replay in my car for the past 2 days straight, and I drive at least 40 min a day. I am not in Rexbug anymore...

So, we have volleyball nights on Monday after FHE, and then we always go to Wendy's after and get frosty's. This was like any other Monday night until we hear a ton of cop cars heading our way. (We usually go to Wendy's after it has closed and only the drive-through is open. We end up parking,sitting outside and eating.) The cop cars pull into Wendy's and block our cars, and yell at the people in the car that they were chasing to get out! Oh man, at this point we were freaking out just a little. A big white woman gets out and the big black man that was driving tries to get away but doesn't because there are literally 12 police men surrounding him with their guns pointed. Man can I tell you I could have peed my pants right then. This is only something that is on the TV! And we witnessed it in real life. They must have been chasing those people for a while because the cops were from Benecia and we were in Concord. They were both double handcuffed and then were sent on their way to sleep on nice cold, hard beds behind bars.We could only leave once most of the cops left because they were blocking us from getting out. Man what a night! One that I wont forget about for a while... Night night big black man! If you never got the chance for your mother to tell you to go to your room and think about what you did, then tonight is the night.

Too much fun to keep track of ♥

4 Flights in 2 weeks. This month has been CRAZY! I have been to AZ and back then to UT and back, now I am on the last stretch before going to UT again. Arizona was so much fun. I love being around family and playing with my niece and nephews! 

When in Utah Summer and i of course had to go Black Friday shopping. while at the mall Summer wanted to enter in every raffle, to test her luck. And guess what? me, being the one who was not that into it, was the one who won something. A PSP3000 (up for sale by the way)!

Since being home I have gone to 2 basketball games also. One Cal game and a Warriors game. Both super fun! After, when we were walking to the car, we found a little crepe store! Mmm, delicious! I got the chicken, pesto, and sun dried tomato panini.

Last Saturday, Kate Baldree and I were bored and had a sleepover! We made caramel apples. Oh boy was it fun making them! I love to do spontaneous things like this. We had learned a little trick, to quickly drop them in boiling water to take the wax off, and oh man was that disturbing. i never will eat an apple the same and not think of all of the wax that I am eating. This is how they looked after they were done.

We learned a great lesson... put them in the fridge once you are done making them so the caramel sets and you don't get all of the goodness that falls to the bottom. As you can see we put them in cups so they would fall back in place, yeah right! All of the goodness just fell off and onto the table. Some of them we were able to save, but the others we just gave to family to eat because we could not give those hideous things away, even though they did taste good.

Tomorrow is the charity ball, man I am excited, bought a new dress and am in the dancing mood! I will post pictures after.

So close.. But yet so far

The time is quickly approaching that I board a plane to go to ARIZONA! I get to see Kyle, Alyssa, Spencer, and little Kelsi! I am so excited. Oh yeah and I am posting this from my new computer! Yes I said new! Well, at least it is new to me. My aunt and uncle have many laptops, and so once this one was done getting fixed then they gave it to me. I am go grateful because my old one was not really working, this will make for a very smooth semester. Late nights in the kitchen on my computer instead of late nights at the library!

Who would have known?

     After getting water at the Halloween dance and standing just chatting away, I feel a hard grasp on my arm and that can only mean one thing... A tall handsome man walked in the room and Amanda has caught a glimpse. After a while he comes up to us and asks us to take a picture for him, gladly we do and then after I am done taking the picture, we start talking for a little while. He said that he has grown up in Danville, where I currently am living, and is going to Stanford. We talk a little more and then politely say goodbye, and see ya later.
      While I am still standing in that room, I overheard someone saying "Did you know that Mark Madsen is here tonight?" Oh My Gosh. I was just talking to Mark Madsen and I didn't even know it! I have grown up knowing of Mark Madsen, he was in my uncle's ward and in his Boy Scout troop, and went on scouting activities with my uncle and my brothers. Like 8 years ago I went to his parents house and had a stake activity where we swam in his pool went through their corn maze and stood in line to shake his hand and get a signed autograph picture of him, which is still currently in my bedroom at home.
     After I hadoverheard that I went to go tell my friends who had no clue of him.I told them that he is a pro basketball player and has played for the LA Lakers and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Like they believed me. So i pulled out my phone googled him and proved them wrong!  Then they were on a mission to go up and take a picture with him and talk to him. Then the adventure began.  In the end this is what happened...

Rascal Flatts and Sara Evans

Here are some pictures form the Rascal Flatts concert that I went to last night with my aunt, uncle and cousin. It was supposed to be on the 8th of October but then got moved to last night because the band was sick. I don't know why but our seats got upgraded also! We originally had lawn tickets, but then got asked at will call if we would like a free upgrade! Heck yes we would!

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Good:

• They asked me to stay at work longer which means I get to make more money!
• They asked me to do at least 30 min. of overtime a day at $22 an hour!
• The camera that I just bought! Canon S95!
  
• I am getting a bike, fully equip with everything I will need for it up at school, free of cost to me! Thanks Dad!
  
• I get lots of free stuff, for example...

This is one of the first give aways they had at work. These are samples that they give out to their clients, but it ends up that they always have way too much, so we get it! And I think everyone knows I love FREE!


This was the second give away day! 10 packages of chocolate chips and chocolate (in the freezer by the way being saved for college), do you think I could be any happier? Well just see...


This is what I all Mega-Give-away day! I think this included: 9 packages of SlimFast snack bars, 7 Full bars, 9 packages of candy including Tootsie Rolls, Tootsie Pops, Dots, Frooties, and some other odds and end candies, 8 car air fresheners, 1 box of matches, 1 bag individual flossers, 1 package AA batteries, 4 cocoa butter Vaselines, 7 Dove hair products, 3 Suave hair products, 1 package cough drops, 1 baby Oragel plaque revealing gel, 1 Axe deodorant,12 girl Clinical Protection deodorants, and 1 Styrofoam cooler!


Bad:

• I miss being home.
• My car smokes at every stop sign or stoplight when I get off of the freeway.
• My gas bill, $103 for the last 2 weeks!
• Overtime is really getting to me, 10 hour days make me really tired when I get home.
  

Ugly:

• The deer that is probably lying down next to the road with a broken leg or a really sore side, that I nudged last night at 1am getting off of the freeway. I saw it on the side of the road and said, "What the heck is that?" Then realized that it was a deer, standing next to the freeway. And right as I was passing it, going about 30 miles an hour, it decides to run right in front of me! can you believe it? It was standing right next to the freeway all calm until I decide to pass, then it was like it thought, "Oh i wonder what will happen, if i jump out in front of this car as it passes by?" Well I will tell you what will happen little deer! You will get hit! It wasn't that hard because I slowed down really fast as I saw it come out, but it just got a little tap from me. Sorry Bambi :(
